There
are 3 kinds of diamond core bits including PDC
core bits, thermo-stable polycrystalline diamond
core bits and natural diamond core bits. PDC
core bits achieves good drilling stability and
applicable to coring activities in soft to
medium hard formations. Thermo-polycrystalline
diamond core bits features good thermo-stability
and applicable to medium hard and low
abrasiveness formations. Natural diamond core
bits have very good anti-abrasiveness and
applicable to medium to hard abrasive
formations.
